Garrett GT2871R Turbocharger

The GT2871R turbocharger is the newest in Garrett GT technology. This powerful turbocharger features a dual ball bearing turbo assembly with a T25 style turbine inlet. The unit comes with an internal wastegate, which is pre-assembled when it is purchased with the T25 style housing.

 A turbocharger works by forcing more air into the engine compression chamber. Not only does this provide the benefit of increased horsepower, but it also makes your engine more efficient since you are getting more power out of the same amount of fuel that you burn.

This turbocharger will produce 380+ horsepower to the wheels in an SR20DET equipped with the right supporting modifications. Full boost can be realized as low as 3800 rpm with the .64 A/R T25 style exhaust housing.
