CP Forged Pistons - KA24DE .020" 89.5mm 9.0:1

We carry high-performance CP KA24DE forged pistons for the 1991-98 Nissan 240SX. Forged pistons feature a different manufacturing technique compared to stock pistons. While stock pistons are cast in a mold, forged pistons are stamped by a die out of a single lump of billet alloy.  

Forged pistons have a denser surface due to their pure alloys, which makes them much stronger and more durable. These types of pistons provide a high compression ratio, which allows for high revs and more power.

Better suited to a variety of custom configurations, forged pistons work well for turbocharged and high-performance cars that require pistons able to withstand higher pressure, higher heat levels, and more forceful detonation. Forged pistons also make it easier to introduce a flycut on the piston crown.

Important Notes on Our CP KA24DE Forged Pistons

A piston change is strongly recommended for KA people who want to run high boost. CP pistons follow factory 9.0:1 compression ratios and require +.020" overbore. This kit comes with rings and all of the hardware required for the install.
